Aufgaben
Being the field based ‘face’ of the Medical Department in the country

Establishing and developing relationships with HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the therapeutic field

Supporting scientific and medical relationships with the organisation at both country and European levels

Supporting medical activities as required in country with the country Medical Director

Being a company therapy area expert in the relevant field and a product expert in the data for the product, enabling him/her to be a resource for the medical/scientific community

Working cross functionally across the country organisation to support business goals and objectives, therefore providing appropriate support to other functions (in country and above country as required)

Training internal team members in relevant therapy areas and product training

Staying abreast of advances in the relevant disease areas

Supporting the Medical Department in country as needed (e.g. assistance to Medical Information to deal with complex medical/scientific queries)
Anforderungen
Scientific Degree in a natural science based, pharmaceutical or medical discipline

Minimum two years’ experience as a Medical Liaison Manager or Key Account Manager in pharmaceutical sales

Demonstrated ability to enter a new therapy area and rapidly become knowledgeable on the therapy area and product data

Experience in working cross-functionally with sales teams
Ability to perform critical appraisal of scientific publications and perform scientific summaries

Ability to search for, and to synthesise scientific data for a particular therapy area (as required)

Full understanding of country rules for the Pharmaceutical Industry for promotional and non-promotional activities

Practical knowledge of handling of Medical Information queries

Excellent communication skills: oral and presentation skills as well as telephone and email

Interpersonal skills that allow for the development of successful relationships with HCPs

Strategic planning knowledge and skills as well as organisational planning skills

Fluency in English language, particularly scientific language

Driving licence and the ability to travel in country for 60 - 70% of the time
