Microsoft Category Sales Manager (m/w)

Aufgaben
The Consumer and Device Sales (CDS) organization works with ecosystem partners to build, market and sell a winning portfolio that delights customers and earns fans around the world.
The purpose of the role is to accelerate sales of PC Accessories in attachment with first party and third party devices. As a Category Sales Manager you will be responsible for meeting revenue targets, GM and Category key performance indicators.

Your Responsibilities:

- Successful Partnerships (25%)
- Foster mutually beneficial partner relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to your partner.
- Establish a rhythm of business to stay informed on your partners local strategy, business imperatives, and intended investments.
- Share expert knowledge of Microsofts priorities, programs and device selling strategies, driving alignment between partner and Microsoft.
- Romote local activities with your partner, facilitating engagement between partner and local Microsoft leadership teams.
- Proactively review and track progress of partners satisfaction to evaluate the health of the relationship.
- Analysis and Insight (20%)
- Use internal and external data/research to assess industry/market trends, incorporate new concepts in to marketing strategies, position Microsoft products in the competitive ecosystem and understand the relevance of Microsoft products in partner portfolios.
- Marketing Principles (25%)
- Develop integrated marketing plans and strategic market objectives by channel partner, drive marketing execution, and measure execution and return on investment (ROI).
- Strategic Business Planning (10%)
- Create strategic business objectives and category plans across all commercial customer touch points, coordinate partner segmentation and prioritization, and strategically influence assortment and volume builds, and execute against the product lifecycle.
- Business Operational Excellence (20%)
- Execute against scorecards and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, drive inventory management, Revenue and GM.
Anforderungen
Your Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in marketing, business or similar field/or equivalent work experience (3 years).
- Experienced in diverse range of business development issues with passion for technology and devices.
- Proven track record (4+ years) of B2B marketing, digital marketing, sales, business development management or related field expertise; experience across Distributors or LARs is preferred.
- Effective communication with technical and business leaders at all levels in a large corporation coupled with the ability to creatively solve problems with multiple variables.
- Diplomacy and comfort managing complex Partner conversations and ability to hold the Partner accountable in an open and respectful manner.
- Maturity to develop strong relationships at multiple management levels across Microsoft and Partner.
- Excellent communication, listening, storytelling, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and to work in a fast paced environment.
- Solid analytical skills in the areas of forecasting, planning and budgeting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Multi-language skills preferred.

Sie werden durch Schulungen und Training on the job auf diese Aufgabe vorbereitet.
