About the department and the work:
At AVA (Emergency Department) you will work with mixed patients such as cardiology, infection, gastro-, endocrine patients. Access to consultants in all specialties will be available. Here there are 22 beds. The working hours are 8 17 Monday Friday. No duties in the first three years. The catchment area is approximately 100,000. At AVA there are 2 specialists, 3 doctors in training / resident doctors and nurses.

At AVA, You need to be a specialist in internal medicine with focus on emergency care. You need to have a few years of experience as a specialist. It is a great advantage that you can speak English or German, since you are expected to communicate with your prospective colleagues and managers at the interviews in Sweden.
You will get all the help and assistance needed for a smooth move to the new city in Sweden, but you will need to spend some energy as well. You must also learn Swedish, something we can help you with.
